Sintra – it is one of the greatest and most beautiful place in Lisbon and Portugal. It is also called the historical place of Portugal and it is declared the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is situated on the hill overlooking Lisbon city and surrounded by eucalyptus trees, lush palm trees and amazing cedars. It is worth visiting Sintra!
Cabo da Roca (Cape of Rock) – it is the western point of European Continent and you will find there unbelievable views. It is 140 meters of altitude.
In Sintra we will see romantic landscapes, great parks with very rare and exotic flora in the ancient forests. Right on the hill of Sintra there are few old castles and palaces, such as Pena Palaces (XX century Royal Residence), Regaleira Palace and Vila Palace ( XIV century Royal Residence). You will be visiting all of them and you will get fascinated by the portuguese architecture.
After visiting Sintra we will continue on old mountain road right to Cabo da Roca. Then on the way back we will be passing by Cascais and Estoril along the Atlantic coast. These two districts are the most prestigious and expensive in Lisbon and Portugal to live. There you can see the most comfortable sandy beaches, Golf fields, the biggest in Europe Casino Estoril, a lot of restaurants and famous Trace Formula 1.
Our last stop will be the place where Tagus River ( Tejo) meets the Atlantic Ocean. Stop for lunch is programmed in small local restaurant with fresh shellfish and fish caught in Atlantic Ocean by local fishermen.
